Today's episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded saw its first elimination and the two in danger zone were, Deepika Kakar and Ashish Chowdhry. Unfortunately for Deepika's fans, the actress had to bid adieu to the show. Apart from this not-so-happy news, the rest of the show was as always loaded with a lot of brilliant performances and even more of laughter; thanks to Manish Paul and his hilarious remarks and Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar's equally snarky comebacks. I just love this guy. Anyway, like you may already know, the theme on today's episode was motion, that's to be on the move for as long as possible using motion props.

We saw some really great performances and some not-so-great ones too, but the best performance for me was that of Mohit Malik's. Though he did not receive full marks, I think he truly deserved them today. From the choice of their song (Har Kisi Ko) to their prop to their steps, I fell in love with their performance. I was so disappointed when it got over because I sooo wanted to see more.

The next best performer was Vivian Dsena, but I think a major chunk of the credit needs to go to the choreographer here, who created a performance as good as theirs despite Vivian's lack of dancing skills. A glamed up doll with bright red lips, or pink maybe, a super hot outfit that'll make every girl go green with envy and a lot of starry tantrums – that's what I expected when I went for my first interview with Sunny Leone! Indian Idol Junior 2 has been one of the finest singing platforms for children today. The show offers young guns a chance to be mentored by the best of the best from the music industry.

As per the latest update, there won't be any elimination on the singing show tonight. With this, all the nine contestants – Ajay Brijwasi, Vaishnav Girish, Nithyashree Venkatramanan, Nahid Afridi , Ananya Nanda, Niharika Nath, Srilakshmi Belmannu , Ronita Banerjee and Moti Khan are declared safe. A source present on the sets of the show exclusively told us, “Tonight the judges – Neeti Mohan, Vishal Dadlnai, Sonakshi Sinha and Salim Merchant will use their veto power and save all the contestants from elimination.”

Apart from this, the audience will be in for a treat as Sonakshi will leave the audience enthralled with her mesmerising voice as she croons Har Kisiko Nahin Milta. Singer Neeti Mohan too will join her. The two beauties sing the song beautifully in an altogether new way. Watch the episode right away to catch the two perform!

Looks like the eight season of popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa haven't been going too well Shilpa Shetty's little sister Shamita Shetty who is one of the contestants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded. While rehearsing for her performance, a freak accident took place and Shamita got injured quite badly.

The JDJ contestant has a few stitches and a nasal fracture. Shilpa informed her fans about this incident on her Twitter. She wrote, ”Terrible news with @ShamitaShetty having a freak accident @Jhalak dikhlaja rehearsals . Nasal fracture in a couple stitches. ”

So far the Zeher actress impressed us with her performances. Last week, the babe sizzled the Jhalak stage and left everyone awestruck with her moves.The 36-year-old former actress, who was last seen in ‘Bigg Boss' Season 3, has made her comeback on the small screen with the dance reality show with the hope that she gets the opportunity to enhance her career in Bollywood.

Today's episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, as you might already know, was a continuation of yesterday's theme and like yesterday, it had some good some not so good performances. Manish Paul, Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor's comic timings were, as always, too awesome and left me in splits most of the time. However, I found the previous episode more entertaining than today's. Anyway, let's just do a quick recap for all those who could not catch the show tonight…

The performances

I think the best performers today were Kavita Kaushik and Subheet Kaur. Kavita and her choreographer used a giant wheel with ladder kind of a prop I'm not sure what it called. But it weighed 350 kgs and I know for sure that THAT is not easy to handle. Despite that their performance was as smooth as could be. Surbheet's lifts and moves were bang on and her choreographer was smart enough to design moves that would require him to hold her after every lift to support her wait. Sanya Irani's did not get very good comments from teh judges, but somehow, I found her act very entertaining. Of course that could be because of the choice of song and her smiling face. Other performances were, by comparison not so great.

Comedy Nights With Kapil has now become Comedy Nights With Arshad Warsi. Today was the first episode of the show without Kapil Sharma pulling off his adorable, goofy and outrageously hilarious Bittoo stint. In his place we had the Guddu Rangeela actor hosting and entertaining guests. Unfortunately, it's not just Kapil who has left, ‘Comedy' too has bid adieu to the show. My judgement could be a little biased here because I'm comparing Arshad to the show's former host, but it's hard to judge someone objectively when he's stepping into someone else's shoes and Kapil's are some really large shoes to fill in.

Arshad is a great actor with a brilliant comic timing, but after today's episode, I learnt that being a comic actor and being a comedian are two vastly different things. His punches weren't as spontaneous as Kapil's and his comebacks even less so. And the audience interaction round, where Kapil would take people's cases used to be so much fun. The way he pulled their legs would leave me in silts, but with Arshad it looked very forced and rehearsed. His remarks seemed more offensive than funny.

I'm sure having a bunch of serious actors like Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shreya Saran (who were there to promote Drishyam) wouldn't really have helped Arshad's case very much. There have been many celebrities who have either opted out of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa or have continued their run, post injuries. It is common for one to hear about celebs getting hurt and bruised during dance rehearsals and unfortunately, the same happened to Shamita Shetty recently. The actress hurt her nose while rehearsing with choreographer Deepak and is now suffering from a nasal injury. Shamita while talking to a popular daily informed saying,” I fractured my nose while rehearsing on Thursday. It was a freak accident. I dashed into my choreographer Deepak.” Shamita's elder sis Shilpa Shetty Kundra even Instagrammed a picture of her injured lil' sis with her post reading,” iaan wants Maasi to don his Iron man mask to cover her boo boo on the face. You're a brave girl @ShamitaShetty . Can't believe you still want to perform.Hats off to Ure spirit. U go girl.”

The daily reports that Shamita had to undergo a minor surgery post her nasal fracture.” They had to stitch the inside of my nose and now it is in a plaster and tough to manage. The painkillers and antibiotics are taking a toll on my body, a I feel drained of all my energy,” she informed the daily.

In the last episode, we saw Rinki and Mihir(Raj Singh Arora) getting into a fight. Mihir informed Rinki that he is going to the US for a month. Upon being asked whether it's for a job, Mihir lashed out at Rinki, stating that she should quit nagging him and accept the fact that he will forever work with Raman(Karan Patel). Later, Sarika was seen scolding Aditya for hurting her baby. She slapped Adi and the same was seen by Raman. He lashed out at Sarika, stating that this was no way to correct a child. Romi(Aly Goni) intervened and soon he and Raman got into a verbal fight. Things tuned ugly when Prakash Bhalla sided with Romi, and stated that he was wrong in raising his voice with Sarika. Raman decided he had had enough and the episode ended with him and Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) leaving the Bhalla house.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Mrs Bhalla panicking upon not seeing Raman and Ishita at home. She will return and ask her family members on where the two had gone. The Bhallas will inform her that Raman- Ishita left and Mrs Bhalla will be shocked. Later, Raman will be seen returning home and witnessing Mrs Bhalla's wrath. She will slap him, stating that Ishita and he have insulted the Bhalla family by leaving home. Later, Ishita will approach Mrs Bhalla and will mend things. Abhi's big secret is out! Daadi has learned about Pragya's fake pregnancy and Tanu's truth. What none of them know is that Tanu is lying and taking them all for a ride. However, now that Tanu's father informs Abhi's grandmother that he is the father of his daughter's child Daadi slaps him and asks him to leave her house. While all this drama unfolds, Pragya tries hard to console Daadi and asks her to accept Tanu as her new bahu. She tells Daadi that she has always wished for a grandchild and Tanu is now expecting one. But Daadi is in no mood to listen to any of them. So she banishes Abhi from their mansion. Pragya decides to follow her husband and leaves her marital home too. Unfortunately for Tanu, she now has to continue dealing with Pragya's presence around Abhi.

Strange isn't it, all along Pragya has been wanting Tanu and Abhi to unite and leave her house. But when the actual time came she decided to follow her husband. How on earth does she plan to bring them together? Her constant presence will only creat more distance between Abhi and Tanu, for Abhi now harbours feelings for his wife and not his girlfriend. Anyhow moving on to the story, Abhi aka Shabbir Ahluwali will have very little screen time in the upcoming episodes, coz he's on a small break to celebrate his little son's birthday. Of course three weeks rest would mean that the comedian will not be able to host Comedy Nights with Kapil. The channel immediately roped in Arshad Warsi to replace Kapil, for the time being. Now we thought Kapil was busy lying in bed and getting pampered by his near and dear ones, but it turns out the actor is not even in the country.

Kapil and his entire team are in Hamilton doing a live show for his fans. We wonder how the actor managed to fly to the foreign country with such a major injury. So we decided to dig a little into the matter. A source informs that Kapil demanded a hike in his fees, which the channel did not agree to. Four Lion Films' Qubool Hai has been running successfully for almost three years and every new character in the show has been adored by fans and us. When we heard that the show is taking a 20-year leap, we caught up with Gul Khan – co-producer of Qubool Hai to find out more on the upgraded venture. She said, “Yes we are taking a leap and it will be a completely new story this time.”

So why isn't Karanvir Bohra a part of this exciting new move? “He was quite clear from the start about what he wanted, but we've parted ways amicably. The channel and the production house are very excited about the leap and it will be a very different story,” said Gul.

Will Surbhi Jyoti continue with the project? “Yes, she is very much part of the show. She will be paired opposite two new leads actors. It will be a triangle love story and we are yet to finalise on the boys who will romance her.” Surbhi is one lucky lady who has romances over six men in one show.

In the last episode, we saw Kokila(Rupal Patel) being greeted by a masked lady. The lady was seen pulling off a dance act on stage and making Kokila curious. She approached the latter and extend her hand. Right when Kokila was about to shake it, the masked lady pushed Kokila. Gopi intervened and helped Kokila, telling the masked lady that she had no right to treat her maaji that way. A few minutes later, the lady took off her mask and revealed her face, which left Kokila shell shocked. Post this incident, the Modis tried to ask Kokila details on who the lady is. But she refrained from spilling the beans and asked the members to swear that they won't question her. The episode ended with Gopi crying and begging Kokila to reveal who the masked lady was…

In the upcoming episode, we will see Kokila telling Gopi(Devoleena Bhattacharjee) that the masked lady was her childhood friend. The moment we heard Karnavir Bohra aka Aahil's character on Qubool Hai is coming to an end, our hearts sank. His jodi with Surbhi Jyoti aka Sanam was the only thing that kept us excited to follow this show so religiously. Many like us are even running an online petition requesting the makers of the show to retain KVB and drop of the idea of taking a 20-year leap. But it ain't happening guys! We got in touch with Gul Khan, the producer of QH a while back and she exclusively confirmed, “Yes we are taking a leap and it will be a completely new story this time. Karanvir was quite clear from the start about what he wanted, but we've parted ways amicably.” So now, what next? Is it a tragic end for Sanam and Aahil's love story?Well, it indeed is.

The two will die as they'll be seen falling off a cliff in the coming episode. But fans need not dishearten. There were reports about Kapil Sharma co-producer and host of Comedy Nights With Kapil suffering from a slip disc and being advised bed rest for three weeks. As a result, he is not hosting the show, and Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan have taken his place alternatively. Kapil had even tweeted, ‘‘Hello friends. Hope All well .. But am not well.. advised for bed rest… Shooting last episode with @BeingSalmanKhan, coming back soon.''

However, recently Kapil posted pictures of his performance alongwith his Comedy Nights team at Hamilton and tweeted, “Feeling blessed…12 thousand people in Hamilton.. Can't believe .. Stay happy.”

A little digging revealed that Kapil actually wanted to take a break from the show for a month as he had lined up live shows in USA and Canada. According to sources, he wanted the show off air for the period he would be away. But the show continues, albeit with different hosts. What's more Kapil interesting is that he was present when the episodes with Arshad and Sajid were shot as he is not just the host, but also the producer of the show!
