Today's episode of Balika Vadhu was nothing short of a roller coaster ride with so many emotions put together. From jealousy to romance to realisation, we saw a lot. It started with Akhiraj's fake speech over child labour and child abuse. So he was on call explaining someone why it is important to not make kids work and instead make them study and allow them to play. The man had the audacity to be speaking all this in front Nimboli (Gracy Goswami) whom he's kept as a house slave. For so many years, the innocent little girl has been ill-treated and she took it all smilingly, because that was the only treatment to daughter-in-laws she had seen. But now with Kundan's (Sparsh Shrivastav) second wife, Urmila, in the picture, Nimboli is finally starting to realise that she's treated differently. And Urmila's rude ways are not helping in anyway.

Meanwhile, Pooja and Manu are having a happy married life, so far. Manu gets a fake lizard to scare Pooja who gets furious on realising that it's a fake one. So she runs after Manu with a rolling pin in her hand to hit him when she accidentally trips and Manu hold her in time… the two share a romantic moment which would have been cute had they not been kids.

Last weekend Kavita Kaushik, Scarlett Wilson and Dipika Kakar got saved from eviction because it was party episode. This week JDJ8's first elimination will happen and we wonder who will get axed from the show.

According to the performances we saw everyone was just about above average or average. But some contestants got the flak from judges. We know Shamita Shetty, Sanaya Irani, Faisal Khan and Mohit Malik gave splendid performances. So they may escape the eviction but the fates of the rest are still in danger.

Dipika Kakar redeemed herself this week but there's still scope for improvement. Vivian DSena is a popular figure among the masses; however he forgot his steps which didn't go unnoticed. However we are sure the audiences will save him this time.As for Subhreet Kaur, this is just the beginning for her. Radhika Madan also received a lot of criticism for her performance because the judges expect a little too much from her and we don't blame them. Scarlett may be a brilliant dancer but without public support she may not last in the competition for too long.

So far on Diya Aur Baati Hum, we saw how things have changed and not for the good, in the Rathi house. Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) has become more dominating, Mohit is back in the house, Emily (Pooja Jain) is back to wearing a saree and much more. The only person who's more or less still the same is Meenakshi (Kanika Maheshwari). The Rathi family performs the final rituals three months after Sandhya's(Deepika Singh) death (at least they believe so). Bhabho who feels betrayed by Sandhya putting her duty ahead of her family decides to burn down every object that belongs to or reminds the family of Sandhya. She feels that the best way to forget the betrayal is by forgetting Sandhya altogether. So when Zakir comes home to give them the medal that Sandhya has won, Bhabho throws it away and asks him to never set foot in their house ever again.

Meanwhile, the head of Garjana sangathan finds out that Himanshu's fiance, Sagarika is still alive and that the police are trying to get in touch with her for some sort of investigation. This makes him suspicious and he decides to kidnap her before the police can get to her, in order to find out what is it that she knows that the police are trying to know. Parth Samthaan, Charlie Chauhan and Ayaz Ahmed from MTV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan are a bunch of young good looking actors who find time from their super busy schedule to have fun. Why do we say so? Well, we came across a series of video compilation by Charlie aka Mukti from the show, which also features Manik Malhotra and Cabir Thakur. The trio along with others are busy miming Bollywood dialogues. Is this how they prep of for their serial? Or is this just a practice session for their Bollywood debut? We do not know, but we can tell you is that they are very very entertaining.

Charlie is a pro at Dubsmash and so are her heroes from KYY. Ms Chauhan slips into characters with ease, so she does a Sonakshi Sinha and then plays Kajol and soon switches to essay Nargis Fakhri from Rockstar. Actors Himanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar won Nach Baliye 7 on Sunday, however their celebrations were cut short as Amruta got admitted to the hospital once again after complaining of stomach pain. Though the couple is forced to spend their time together in the hospital, they are still happy about their win. BollywoodLife exclusively spoke to Himanshoo, who was by wife Amruta's bedside, to get his reaction about their win and more. Here is what he had to say.

How did you feel win the result was announced?

Victory is related to happiness, so we are extremely happy that we won Nach Baliye 7. We gave consistent performances throughout the competition and so we were hoping to win. It definitely feels great to get so much appreciation from one and all, but when the result was announced it was a very contrasting moment for me. It was contrasting because it was the first time I realised that when you are really very happy, you get teary eyed. It was the first time I was happy and tears rolled down my face. Once our names were announced, I just thanked my dad (in my mind) as he has always been a pillar of support for us, then I thanked god and then I hugged Amruta (Khanvilkar). We cried with happiness. At that moment, we were super happy and we thought that God has answered all our prayers.

We've loved Sandhya from Diya Aur Baati Hum ever since we first saw her and then a few weeks ago, we were introduced to yet another avatar of Deepika Singh as a young Bengali girl, Sagarika. Both, us and the audiences loved the new Deepika even more. But the man responsible for giving us both these beautiful looks, Bhupesh Singh, is no more. The actress is obviously depressed on hearing the news!

The actress took to social media to share her grief and shock over the news. She shared the above picture on her Instagram account and posted, “Everyday I used to tell Sufi Shaikh that ” jaldii kar sufi warna bhupeshji aa jayenge or kahenge ki itna time lagaogey to gao ka ticket katana padega ” . Unbeleivable , shocking. Missing you Bhupeshji. May you rest in peace.”

Veteran actor Anupam Kher says he still hopes to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his show The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, which is now coming in for a second season.
During the first season of Anupam's show, there was talk that Modi may make an appearance, but it never happened.

At the launch event of the show, when the veteran actor was asked if Modi will come this time, he said: “No. I wanted him to be on my show… He was on my wishlist and still remains on it.”

“I think the prime minister we have today is one of the most inspirational people. He has great qualities. I would like to interview him, but it depends entirely on his schedule,” he added.

While the last season of Anupam's show welcomed guests like superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, the new season would see actors like Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol and Priyanka Chopra, lyricist-and-filmmaker Gulzar and sports star Sania Mirza sharing inspirational stories of their life.

A TV show Comedy Nights Bachao that is on the lines of AIB Roast is being readied to be aired soon. No, it's got nothing to do with Comedy Nights With Kapil, which will continue to air once a week. After Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh and Anita Hassanandani, Pooja Bose, Karan Wahi and Sara Khan have signed up for the show. Says a source, “The show will have 10 pairs of comedians and TV actors, who will roast guest celebrities that will comprise Bolly actors. It will go on air towards the end of August and will be aired once a week.”

We all remember the response Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor's AIB roast got. Where some appreciated the humour, there were others who called it “vulgar” and “obscene.” We wonder how this new show will be received by the audience. Though Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil is a comedy show and is a hit amongst the masses, it doesn't follow the concept of roasting. Sara and Karan's show on the other hand will and we are curious to see how the audience will react to the same!

Salman Khan's last visit to Dubai was around May end. Yes, after much debate and discussion around his court case the actor did manage to get permission to keep up his commitment of performing at the Arab Indo Bollywood Awards this year. Sonakshi Sinha was inconsolable. The actress just couldn't hold back her tears as she witnessed one of the heart-touching performances on Indian Idol Junior 2. Yes, Sonakshi is a softie, no wonder she was moved when one of the kiddie contestants on the show Nahid crooned Taare Zameen Par song, Meri Maa. The actress was uncontrollable and no these were not tears for the cameras of a reality show. The team at Indian Idol was celebrating Parents Day on the show and contestants had to pay an ode to their parents in their songs. Sonakshi was not only impressed by Nahid's performance, but it was the mood of the song and the lyrics that made her cry like a baby.

A source close to the show said, “Nahid's effortless singing left everyone speechless.The one who was most affected was Sonakshi Sinha. She started weeping uncontrollably. For the longest time, she couldn't talk. The shoot came to a halt for sometime as everyone tried to console her.”

Ritika might have proved Ishani wrong and defeated her during the DNA test episode, but seems like she cannot stop Ranveer from loving his wife. In the last episode we saw how Ranveer and Ishani start fighting with each other over Sharman, but one simply cannot miss RV's love for his wifey. We also saw how Ranveer was super tensed on seeing that Ishani was missing from his home and was out all night. In his rage he ends up exposing himself and his true feelings for Ishani. A similar sequence was seen in Channel V's Sadda Haq where Sayunkata and Randheer get close in the rain.

Nach Baliye finale

Amruta Khanvilkar and Himmanshoo Malhotra won the seventh season of the dance reality show – Nach Baliye. Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu came in second followed by Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna. Unfortunately, Amruta was hospitalised immediately the next day due to stress for the past ten weeks and over exertion.

The new entry

Karan Patel's real wife Ankita Bhargava join Sony TV's popular show Reporters. She plays Rajeev Khandelwal aka Kabir's first wife. The love story that has been going on so well will finally see some interesting twists. This is Ankita's big show post her wedding. In between she did a few episodics as well.
